West Lothian Domestic and Sexual Assault Team (DASAT)

													

West Lothian Domestic and Sexual Assault Team (DASAT) offers confidential and friendly support to people who have experienced abuse.

They provide tailored support for adults and children survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault. Specialist support is also available for people with mental health difficulties and/or substance misuse issues.

For adults, the DASAT team provide a range of services including:

•Safety planning

•Emotional support

•Advice, information, and signposting

•Advocacy

•Counselling for survivors of childhood sexual abuse

•Emergency Housing (LISA project.)

The DASAT team also deliver a preventative education programme and/or awareness raising sessions to secondary schools within West Lothian.
